TNC miniature coaxial connector is very similar to BNC series, except it is threaded. This design can be used up tp 11 GHz. They are recommend for use with antennas, satellite, ATM machine, and wireless communications etc.
Kai Dee Jin TNC 50Ω connectors are threaded RF connectors applicable from DC up to 11 GHz. Precision designs using dielectric beads are also suitable for use up to 18 GHz. The threaded coupling mechanism improves control over the interface dimensions and allows them to be used under a higher environmental load than BNC, especially under a high vibration condition. All 75Ω TNC connectors and 50Ω connectors are mate-able without restrictions.
